So i know it has been crazy long since i have posted last.  But now you get evideos and a post all in one.  It's like a home overload!!

Let's start with awhile ago.  Dave and his friend Casey are both May babies and decided to have a grunge party to celebrate (because the 90's rule!).  Billy and I of course got lost and Dave of course could not help with directions.  So once Jess got on the phone and told us how to get there we found the place.  There was Mallrats on the TV (VHS of course) and grunge music on the computer.  Everyone had on flannels and ridiculous leggings (My So Called Life style clothing).  Casey had gone all out and bought posters for the wall so it was very 90's feeling.  There was a vanilla cake for Casey and a chocolate cake for Dave.  Here is his cake:
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00793.jpg
Not only was there an awesome 30 candle on it but there were 30 decorations on the wall to help celebrate his leap into the next decade.  He also helped to display the cake while we sang!
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00796.jpg

So recently we opened the pool.  Although the cover was working well it broke when we got it to the shallow end and all the yuckiness fell in.  Here is the deep end:
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00842.jpg

And this is what happened when the cover broke:
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00841.jpg
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00847.jpg
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00848.jpg

Mom kicked right into gear and helped skim:
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00840.jpg

And of course dad needed the backyard looking perfect so here he is getting rid of the cover:
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00846.jpg
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00845.jpg

And we needed to powerwash quickly because this is what the concrete looked like without the cover:
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00843.jpg
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00844.jpg
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00851.jpg

Billy was there to help too!
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00849.jpg

And I of course took a video of the whole process taking place:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uOikOSzWngc

So it was a good thing that we did take the cover off early because we have been hit with the most ridiculous heat wave ever.  For the last 2 days we have broken the record for the "high" by a few degrees.  Today it was 99-101 degrees depending on where you were.  And with the humidity it felt around 110 degrees.  The school was gross and I am not as lucky as these stupid public schools.   There was no early dismissal for us.  So I got to sweat my butt off like crazy!

I was studying for my Praxis to take the Social Studies for Middle School but a) there is no way I can cover all this material in this short of time and b) I do not want to teach Middle School so I will not hide behind this test - I will just push forward and do what I need to to get where I belong.  But while I still thought I was going to take the test I procrastinated and made some home videos so you can see the house in its summer glory.  I warn you that these videos were taken with me walking so they may make you feel sick or give you a headache but I did my best to get many details so deal with it!!

This is like a bonus for you guys - two journal entries in just one weekend!  Well, the last one was just Pantagis stuff....this one will have more to it.
Let's start with my BIRTHDAY!!  So as you may know by now the Times were sold out....I know, I know, it's hard to believe but yes it is true!  They were sold out for the 7:00 show by 12:30 in the afternoon.  This of course made me very upset because I thought that we would be doing nothing.  I made the suggestion for Dave and Buster's and by that time EVERYBODY had backed out.  All that was left in the group was Billy, his friends Rudy and Timmy, Rich, Jess, Dave, and me.  I was really upset that nobody would come and the excuse was very stupid.  People were saying that they did not want to drive that far.  It takes at least 45 minutes to drive to Medieval Times and this only took us one hour to get to.  We went to the one in the Palisades Mall so it was Parkway North to Palisades Drive.  It was the easiest drive ever!!

Before we get to that I will tell you how my day started.  Billy and I woke up and he decided that I should not have to make food on my birthday so we went to IHOP.  Very exciting!  I know that pictures like this might upset you so if you do not want to see it don't look.
Here is the placemat for their all you can eat pancakes promotion.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00631.jpg
I had the Quick Two Egg breakfast and here is what is left of it.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00632.jpg
Here is my toast.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00633.jpg
And of course the syrup.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00634.jpg

So anyway we pull up to the BIGGEST mall I have ever seen in my whole life.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LS8UGaQhyjA
There was every store you could think of (including a BJ's) and this place was massive.  I really liked their mall symbol that was outside.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00650.jpg
And from outside you knew what you were going for!
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00649.jpg
Once you walked inside the mall you went straight to the escalator because this sign was telling you where to go.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00647.jpg

Next to this sign were arrows pointing up.  Dave and Busters encompasses pretty much the entire 4th floor of this place.  As soon as you walk in there was a coat check and the place where you put your name down for a table.  Since the wait was long we went right in to play!  This place is just like ESPNzone where you don't have tokens but instead you use a card that you swipe in whatever game you want to play.  There is a bar in the middle of the game area as well as in the front area so it was very easy to get drinks.  Dave, Rich, and Jess decided to get an appetizer at the play area bar since our table would not be ready for an hour and a half.  Apparently Dave and Buster's likes to play jokes on its customers because our table was ready within 30 minutes - before their appetizer even came out!  We had to talk to our waitress and eventually the manager so that the nachos could be brought to our dining room table since they had already paid for them.  The cool thing was their nachos had been left out on the bar so they gave us new ones that were fresh and warm.  We sat next to a mirror so here is a shot from looking at the mirror.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00635.jpg
Only Jess knew I was taking it so she was ready.  Dave Timmy and Rudy had no clue as you can tell!.
We let Dave figure out the money with help from the other math teachers...it was complicated.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJqlKjAS3Zo
While they were figuring out the monetary aspect I was enjoying the chocolatiest piece of cake ever.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00636.jpg

After dinner it was time to play some serious games.  The first one I played was Mario Kart and it was really cool.  There was a camera so your face showed up as the player you were using.  Since I was princess it was my face wearing a crown.  Dave Rich and Jess were found at a trivia game.  There were 6 people at a time playing and speed matters!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpqwMwQGWzI
The funny thing was that everyone could see what answer you picked so you knew who was right and who was stupid.

Most games gave out tickets so that you could get prizes at the end of the night.  One of these games was a huge wheel that you pulled a lever to start.  Then you hit the STOP button and wherever the lights are that is how many tickets you got.  Sounds easy but the higher the ticket number the smaller the space.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C1iu4Kodbws
Funnily enough Billy's friend Timmy hit the 1,000 spot TWICE!!!  It was the craziest thing ever.  For the rest of the night he walked around with a bucket full of tickets.  Here is Billy winning his 40 tickets.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BMb3ErZ1DPA
And don't worry....I got tickets too.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00640.jpg

I found Rich Jess and Dave over at the Skee Ball and hillarity ensued.  The game was not working properly (all four of the skee balls).  Two of them did nothing when swiped except take tokens off your balance (obviously pissing some people off).  The other two did not add properly so if you hit the 40 mark it would only give you 30.  This was happening to Rich as I was videoing and as you can tell he was very upset about it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SrbjJ-uhkO4
He quickly forgot about that when he and Dave began to save the world from zombies in House of Dead 4.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrJzzlyhsok
Dave was not the best at zombie fighting.  He ended up dying and then Rich was left for like 5 minutes after and went on to fight the boss.  It was pretty cool.

We stayed there until about 12:30 and had a really good time the whole time.  Timmy and I went in to get our prizes.  I'll show mine in my next evideo because they need to be talked about.  When we were leaving Billy and I had a nice photo moment.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00648.jpg
Then we were off to home to sleep.  It really was a fun birthday!

The next day daddy took control of my camera.  Here is our new front door from the inside.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00652.jpg
From the outside.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00653.jpg
And the full effect (after months and months of waiting it is done!)
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00654.jpg

It was only 20 degrees today so we had a fire going to help keep the house warm.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00655.jpg
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00656.jpg

Of course daddy had to get a picture of this.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00657.jpg

Here I am making breakfast since it is no longer my birthday.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jX9MTArBL34
And again if you miss breakfast food don't look.  Here is what I made me...
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00661.jpg
And for Billy
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00662.jpg

And what would this entry be without a little Pete?  Here he is in the living room.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00658.jpg
He is still keeping look out for his kingdom.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00666.jpg
The night that we spoke on the phone Pete heard you talking.  I'm sorry I erased the first video and didn't video the very first time you talked to him.  The first time he rolled over and waited to be pet.  The second time he looked all over to see who was talking.  This is how he looked the third time after being thoroughly confused.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JyESWUrDboM

And a nice little bonus for you from daddy.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i2JlmnMoRxU

I hope you liked this entry and that it helped you "be here" for my birthday weekend.  Let me know what you think of it!  I'll be sending evideos soon.

I love you....xoxoxoxoxox

I know that I haven't posted in like a million years but with the evideos there really isn't too much I need to do here!  I know that mommy already told you both (or at least Annie) about the Pantagis videos but there are also pictures to compliment the videos.
Here are all the videos in order of mommy taking them - she is narrating the whole thing so if there are any questions/comments/details they must all be directed to her!

Hello there!  it has been a very long time i know but this thing takes a long time to do!

So we had thanksgiving here.  Dave brought Poppy here around 2 and they stayed til about 8.  Don't worry...there was no turkey choking incident this year!  There was some empty space at our table though.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00344.jpg
We took your suggestion and filled Doug's spot with another Doug.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00343.jpg
And even though your seats were empty we still thought about you both.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJNBmpCK-sU

Well as you know...Thanksgiving is out of the way which can only mean one thing here at the Peters house - Christmas is in full swing.  (actually it was in full swing the Saturday before Thanksgiving but whatever).
Here is our tree before we put any decorations on it.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00335.jpg
Before we could get this tree ready we had to bring in all of the decorations for it and put them somewhere.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00338.jpg
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00337.jpg
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00336.jpg
And here is the after shot.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00373.jpg
And I thought you might like to check it out when it spins...(apparently mom and dad did not care that I was taking video as you will hear while the video goes on).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4w9PufiNoxA

Now you know that the tree is not really the most important thing.  All of the snowman are out and proud this year.  And there are new ones if you can believe it.  Here is one of the newest editions.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00369.jpg
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCXRgVWUpkE

Now, mom really likes those Hallmark special editions that come out every year.  Here are the two that we have (on top of the piano in the living room).
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00376.jpg
And I don't think this is a Hallmark one but it has the same effect.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EBsGPOJsJRg

Pete seems to like it too.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00375.jpg

A lot of the decorations we have light up and I thought you might enjoy seeing that.  Here is a snowman that is in the foyer.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00349.jpg
This picture is dark but it is on top of the thing that holds all of our photo albums.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00351.jpg
Here is the "never enough snowmen" craft.  It is under the wall that has all the family photos in the rec room.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00353.jpg
Here it is in the daylight.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00339.jpg
On the entertainment unit in the rec room mom has put together a village that lights up.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00358.jpg
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00359.jpg
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00360.jpg
And on the rolltop bar in the living room there is of course more decorations.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00372.jpg

Here is the full effect of our rec room.  Try to keep count of the snowmen.  i may not have gotten them all so I will give you an official count at a later date.  (counting is less fun when done alone just to let you know).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7URpBGgmuJ0
The count for the porch is over 50 at the moment.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nrjo_RUoqXk

The kitchen has not been left out.  There are not too many decorations, but there are still some.
The windowsill has a few small decorations.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00365.jpg
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00366.jpg
Here is the snowman cookie jars that are behind the sink.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00367.jpg
And this is hanging over the entrance to the kitchen.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00368.jpg

The living room is the last real place that decorations have been put out.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00377.jpg
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00378.jpg

I guess mom didn't want the bedroom level to feel completely left out so we have this on the linen closet door.
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00379.jpg

I know that there are more decorations that I need to take pictures of and I will.  i also want to take a video of the outside of the house too since we have put some things up out there.  Billy makes fun of the lack of enthusiasm in my voice when I did some of the videos.  To that I say oh well.  Sorry if my voice sounds down - at least you can still enjoy what I took video of!  I hope you enjoyed this entry!
I love you and miss you both!! xoxoxo

Hi!!  I'm assuming that you and annie are the only two people that will be reading this so I will write this journal entry like a letter to the two of you!  I'm not sure if I inserted the websites for pictures properly so if not let me know so I can try to figure it out!  I'm sorry if it doesn't work but you can copy and paste the url if worse comes to worse.  Ok so here it goes!!!

It's Sunday night now and the Eagles just won so woohoo....we are now 2-3....almost a tied record.  Keep your fingers crossed!

So I know that you would like to see some things that are going on here so I took some pics that I thought you might enjoy!  I know that you have that you have that picture of Pete hanging in your house but just to let you know - he is still as cute as can be...

http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00219.jpg

and he is still keeping watch over the house...

http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00280.jpg

The front door FINALLY got put on but the screen door was not the right size so that still needs to come in and be installed....but for right now this is what the doorway looks like...

http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00275.jpg

The Halloween decorations have been out since about September 20th since we are apparently just like the mall....here is what it looks like

http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00279.jpg

http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00278.jpg
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00276.jpg

there are others out that I will take pictures of later and hopefully by then I will finally know what I am doing on this thing!

The backyard looks very different than you remember it because we finally got everything packed up and the pool closed for the fall.  I feel like it looks very ugly in the fall/winter.  We need some snow here so it can look nice again!!

http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00272.jpg
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00271.jpg
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00270.jpg
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00269.jpg

So mommy and I have told you that the house across the street loved our house so much they copied and made theirs look exactly the same!  I guess that is a compliment because copying is supposed to be flattery right?  Oh well....it looks a bit silly because our houses are mirror images now.
Here is our house -
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00277.jpg
Here is their house (from a distance)-
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00273.jpg

I had to take the picture of their house from a distance because I felt a bit silly standing in front of their house with a camera.  I hope you are able to see it for all its hillarity!

Other than these few things there is not much else going on here....everyone is getting into the groove of working and living for the weekends.  In fact....Saturday afternoon looks exactly the same-
http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee10/faerie_119/DSC00268.jpg

And just to make you smile a bit I thought you might like to see this -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfcBO9difJU

Well I hope this works out...I don't want to make the entry too long just in case it gets messed up and then I will be super pissed that I took all this time to write and post pictures!  If it does work out well then I will be sure to take lots of pics on this side of the world and keep you updated with entries.
I miss and love you both tons!  I will talk to you soon!  xoxoxo
